AsiaInfo Services 12-26-2007 Huawei Deploys 8000 Base Stations in Germany BEIJING, Dec 26, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China's top telecommunications equipment vendor Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. recently installed a variety of 2G and 3G wireless access network facilities in Germany for Telefonica O2 Europe plc, said market sources on December 24, 2007. An insider from Huawei confirmed the news and detailed that there are about 8,000 2G and 3G base stations deployed in the southern region of Germany.
