AsiaInfo Services 12-26-2007 BMW to Employ More Workers in China for Market Expansion SHENYANG, Dec 26, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- BMW AG, a world leading luxury car manufacturer, will recruit more employees for its Shenyang-based Chinese venture BMW Brilliance Automotive Ltd. in 2008 in an effort to enlarge production. The German carmaker, which will cut more jobs, most of them are part-time positions, in its homeland factories, is bending itself to taking more market share in China from 2008 as a strategic step of competing with its sisters Audi and Benz globally. BMW sold 36,357 cars in China in 2006, up 51.3% from 2005.
