AsiaInfo Services 12-27-2007 Shanghai Volkswagen Launches Cross Polo SHANGHAI, Dec 27, 2007 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Shanghai Volkswagen Automotive Co., Ltd., one of the ventures of German Volkswagen AG in China, has just launched Cross Polo, which is designed with sporty exterior and rough-road suspension, in an effort to compete with small urban SUVs. The new Polo model, with its bottom enveloped entirely, is equipped with 1.6L engine together with five-speed manual transmission or six-speed dual clutch automated manual transmission.
Its chassis is 17 millimeters higher than former Polo models and it has 16-foot double-rib aluminum alloy wheels and all-new interior fittings. Its manual version is priced at CNY 113,300 and the automatic version at CNY...
