AsiaInfo Services 01-09-2008 China 2007 Dec. CPI to down to 6.1% BEIJING, Jan 09, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China's consumer price index in December 2007 is expected to go down to around 6.1% and the foreign trade surplus is to stay at a high level. The foreign trade surplus in the last month of 2007 is predicted at about USD 26 billion.
And the export growth is to reach 27.6% year over year, jumping 4.8 percentage points from the previous month. It is the second consecutive year that the export rises at such a high speed, said Li Huiyong, a senior analyst at Shenyin & Wanguo Securities Co., Ltd.
