AsiaInfo Services 02-21-2008 TianPing Auto Insurance to Start Telemarketing SHANGHAI, Feb 21, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- TianPing Auto Insurance Co., Ltd. becomes the fourth insurer in China that is qualified to sell vehicle insurance policies via phone. The deal was allowed by the nation's insurance regulator China Insurance Regulatory Commission, on February 19, 2008.
The other three frontrunners are Ping An Property and Casualty Insurance Company of China, Ltd., PICC Property and Casualty Company Limited (SEHK: 2328), and China Continent Property & Casualty Insurance Co., Ltd.
