AsiaInfo Services 03-04-2008 China Unicom Shanghai Branch to Cut Cellphone Roaming Fee BEIJING, Mar 04, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- The Shanghai Branch of China United Telecommunications Ltd. (China Unicom, NYSE: CHU, HKSE: 0762, and SHSE: 600050), the nation's second biggest mobile carrier, has recently decided to adjust the roaming fee on mobile phones as soon as possible. It plans to complete the technology improvement of its three pillar mobile services under CDMA and GSM networks, such as the World Wind, Ru Yi Tong, and U-Power, before the end of this month.
