(NYSE: GM), the world's largest carmaker, has just built its global 12th joint laboratory in Shanghai. The new lab, together with a research institute, with investment of USD 4 million is jointly established by the carmaker and Shanghai Jiao Tong University The lab will focus on R&D of advanced technologies in car manufacture and light materials.
