AsiaInfo Services 03-07-2008 China Telecom Said to Hold Wireless Network Bidding BEIJING, Mar 07, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Telecom Corporation Ltd. (SEHK: 0728 and NYSE: CHA), plans to accept supply offers for Wi-Fi wireless network equipment in March 2008 to deploy its 802.11g wireless network, disclosed people informed with the matter. The wireless network will cover 21 provinces in South China where China Telecom is a major telecom operator.
Plenty of manufactures have attended the test for network equipment China Telecom held previously, sources said.
