AsiaInfo Services 03-11-2008 babytree.com Wins USD10mn VC More BEIJING, Mar 11, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- babytree.com, a Beijing-based baby education Web site, won an investment of USD 10 million from Matrix Partners, a global venture company, on March 9, 2008. It is the website's second round of financing, in which it received the second investment from Matrix Partners. The money will fund babytree's upgrade in services. The Beijing-based site kicked off beta testing on March 8, 2007.
After one year's trial operation, babytree dropped "trial version" from its home page since March 9, 2008. It is said to open Everyday Expert Online, a platform for online communication on the baby education on March 10. The statistics from China's fifth national census...
