AsiaInfo Services 03-14-2008 China Minmetals Wins Several Prospecting Rights BEIJING, Mar 14, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- China Minmetals Corporation, one of the nation's largest steel, metals and minerals trading conglomerates, said it had gained right to prospect tens of mines in the western Chinese provinces like Qinghai and Gansu. The Qinghai coking coal mine, its biggest project, is estimated to have reserves of around 260 million tons and might have reserves of 500 million tons.
