In 2007, Sinochem kicked off a string of capital operation activities, consolidating five pillar businesses of chemicals, energy, finance, agriculture, and real estate and targeting an overall listing through resources optimization. In February of last year, the Shenyang Research Institute of Chemical Industry became a subsidiary wholly owned by Sinochem.
