AsiaInfo Services 03-20-2008 HeJian Technology Said to Dance with Elpida Memory SUZHOU, Mar 20, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Suzhou-based chipmaker HeJian Technology (Suzhou) Co., Ltd. and Japan's dynamic random access memory silicon chipmaker Elpida Memory, Inc. are rumored to jointly launch a 12-inch wafer foundry in Suzhou, Jiangsu, Eastern China, said an industry insider. The new foundry will be named as "He Fa".
However, HeJian Technology denied the rumor again and declined to comment, according to the spokesman. Previously, both sides were said to do so in Nanchang, capital of the southern Chinese province of Jiangxi.
