AsiaInfo Services 03-28-2008 Shanghai Fund Index Hiked 2.98% on March 26 SHANGHAI, Mar 28, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- A number of fund management firms posted 2007 results for their funds and dividend distribution by increasingly more close-end funds spurred investors' passion to make investment. SSE (Shanghai Stock Exchange) Fund Index opened at 4,295.15 and closed at 4,369.22, soaring 126.29 points or 2.98 percent.
Meanwhile, SSE (Shenzhen Stock Exchange) Fund Index surged 118.95 points or 2.86 percent to end at 4,280.89. The close-end funds under Bosera Asset Management released fat dividend distribution plans and they took the leading positions among funds by growth on the day.
