AsiaInfo Services 03-28-2008 Clariant to Expand Organic Pigment Capacity in Hangzhou HANGZHOU, Mar 28, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Clariant, a Swiss chemical group, and its Chinese partner Zhejiang Baihe Chemical Holding Group plan to jointly set up an organic pigment plant in Hangzhou, where they already created a joint venture named Hangzhou Baihe Clariant Pigments Co.

Ltd. Invested by Clariant and Baihe Chemical, the new plant will be built in the current production area of the joint venture and is expected to install a world-class device to produce quinacridone specialty organic pigments, which are widely used in plastic and other industries.
