AsiaInfo Services 04-02-2008 82% Equity Funds Invested in China Merchants Bank SHANGHAI, Apr 02, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- As of March 30, 2008, among the 276 equity funds that had posted their 2007 annual results, 226 or 82% had invested in China Merchants Bank (SHSE: 600036), according to Wind Info, a Chinese financial information provider. That catapulted China Merchants Bank onto the list of the top five stocks that attracted funds most.
The other four were Shanghai Pudong Development Bank (SHSE: 600000), with 185 funds; Vanke Group (SZSE: 000002), 179 funds; CITIC Securities Co., Ltd.
