AsiaInfo Services 04-04-2008 Chevron Advances Nautral Gas Project in Northeast Sichuan DAZHOU, Apr 04, 2008 (SinoCast via COMTEX) -- Chevron Corporation (NYSE: CVX), one of the world's leading oil companies, is actively brewing its natural gas project in the northeast block of the Sichuan Basin, together with Chinese oil titan China National Petroleum Corporation (CNPC). The US company will complete the project through its core subsidiary in China, Chevron Texaco China Energy Company, which has recently set up a branch in Dazhou, Sichuan Province, west China, with a view to further supporting the natural gas project.
