AsiaInfo Services 06-02-2009 Chery A3 to Drive into Taiwan TAIPEI, Jun 02, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- The Chery A3 of Chery Automobile Co., Ltd., an automaker based in Mailand China, has just passed a new round of crash test of Taiwan's Automotive Research & Testing Center (ARTC). The result brings the Chery A3 closer to Taiwan.
The model is expected to hit the Taiwanese market in November 2009. Chery Automobile Spokesperson Jin Yibo said that the company had cooperated with Taiwanese companies for long and that the Taiwanese side had advantage in auto parts, electronic controllers, and auto electronics.
