AsiaInfo Services 06-03-2009 Shenzhen Subsidizes Local Companies Eyeing GEM SHENZHEN, Jun 03, 2009 (SinoCast Daily Business Beat via COMTEX) -- Local companies in the city of Shenzhen will get CNY 3.1 million in financial aids from the government if they have their shares traded on the coming growth enterprise market (GEM), known as China's Nasdaq. Shenzhen companies that complete shareholding restructuring, go through listing tutorships or finally get listed on GEM will be awarded CNY 300,000, CNY 800,000 and CNY 2 million, respectively.
Plus the financial aids offered by district governments, a company can get up to CNY 6.6 million if it goes public on the GEM. Paving the way for local companies to GEM, governmental officials are brainstorming ways to help them...
