(NASDAQ: AAPL) and China Unicom (Hong Kong) Ltd. (SEHK: 0762 and NYSE: CHU) might have reached an agreement about the introduction of iPhones into China, said Cynthia Meng, an analyst with Merrill Lynch (NYSE: SAR). The exclusive agreement is expected to be valid for two years, according to Ms.
Meng, predicting that Chinese consumers would begin to enjoy such smartphones from October 1, 2009.
