Brazil: Interclinicas, Anderson associate for hospital management.

The Sao Paulo based hospitals chain Interclinicas associated with Andersen consulting to develop a new software for the integrated management of hospitals, and invested so far US$12mil in development and announce the program to be ready by the 2nd half of 1999. Interclinicas associated in this project through the subsidiary Neodata, and the results are so promising that Andersen plans to export the program. Neodata dicloses that the software is based in windows NT and uses Oracle data bank. Within two years it expects to license 100 copies of the program to of which 25 outside Brazil. In 1998 Neodata posted sales of US$6mil, and sum to boost as the software is distributed.
