Brazil: ABB exports power equipment to Singapore.

The Brazilian subsidiary of ABB (Asea Brown Boveri) has shipped to Singapore an unit for electric power generating and automation equipment worth US$18mil that will be set up in the off shore platform of Petrobras being erected there. ABB is also to make in Brazil 50% ofthe electric systems and equipment to be used in the platforms to be used in Barracuda and Caratinga fields, in the case it wins the tenderto supply them.
