Brazil: Rhodia made profit of US$104mil until September.

Rhodia's chemical business in Brazil generated operating profit of US$104mil between January and September, 1999, a 47% increase in comparison with the same period of 1998. In the 3rd quarter of this year, ebitda at the company amounted to US$37.5mil, up from US$16mil in the same period of 1998. Sales volume at the company rose 10% in the 3rd quarter, while exports rose 12%.
