Brazil's pension funds reform is backed by World Bank's software.

The pension funds reform submitted by the Brazilian federal government to the national congress was based on the simulations provided by theWorld Bank's software Prost (Pension Reform Options Simulation Toolkit). Brazil's pension funds deficit amounts to R$41.4mil. The World Bank will lend US$10mil for Brazil's pension funds reform, which is more advanced in the State of Parana, whose case is being followed by the states of Sao Paulo, Rio de Janeiro and Pernambuco.
