Chile: Telefonica CTC to focus on the corporate segment.

Telefonica CTC will invest US$300mil in Chile during the year 2000, of which 30% in the corporate area, which generates annual revenues ofUS$150mil and grows 35% per year. The company invested US$600mil this year to implement an IP network, which will be launched by mid December. In addition to the corporate area, the company will also focus on local and long-distance communications and mobile telephone. The company has 200,000 clients.
