Argentina: Alcatel wins contract with Disco.

Alcatel announced it won a contract with the supermarkets chain Disco to which it will set up a voice & data communications network connecting 220 branches and the headquarter. The contract value was not disclosed but is part of Disco' s modernization spree to develop sales via telephone and Internet. Disco hs dedicated a Pesos$6mil outlet in San Fernando, Buenos Aires province, that includes a corner to sell household appliances.
