Argentina: 3Com funds small companies.

3Com has earmarked US$10mil to fund small companies willing to lease its communications equipment in Argentina. In June it will launch a proposal for proposals above US$25,000 payable within 36 months valid in Argentina, Chile, Uruguay, and Paraguay. The move is part of a strategy to reorganize its business and focus into fast growing segments such as large band access equipment (cable modem, xDSL), and IP among others. Plans are to a 35% annual growth in Latin America.
