Brazil : Atos Origin outlines plans.

Atos (France) has acquired Origin, from Royal Philips Electronics NV, in a US$2.6bil deal. Philips will receive 21.5mil stocks in the new company that will be named Atos Origin. Until 2001 the new products will arrive in the Brazilian market, informed Mr Roberto Biagi the chairman of Origin Brasil. Origin Brasil has 1.370 employees, and a R$120mil turnover.
