Brazil : Heineken to acquire Kaiser.

Beer producer Kaiser, the third major in the Brazilian market with 14% participation, is to be acquired by Heineken (Netherlands). The announcement was made by Kaiser's chairman Mr Humberto Pandolpho Jr, during the meeting Expo Abras 2000. The sector predicts the deal will be estimated at US$700mil.
