Brazil: Telefonica ana Yahoo make partnership.

Yahoo! Brasil made a partnership with Telefonica Celular for the supply of contents to the cell phone Internet access service, named E-mocion. The search portal also launches the Yahoo! Celular, comprising the news contents and communication services, mainly Yahoo! Mail. Telefonicaoperates in Rio de Janeiro, Espirito Santo, Bahia and Sergipe. Launched by early July, Telefonica Celular' mobile access already counts on 50.000 devices. Yahoo! Brasil, subsidiary of the major worldwide search portal was set up in June 1999.
