Brazil : ABN Amro Real and Fiat signs contract.

ABN Amro Real and Fiat Finance Brasil has signed a lock-out agreement which will allow ABN to manage US$17bil cash management from the 37 companies of the group in Brazil. The deal represents 20% of ABN's operational earnings in 2000 first half (January- June) that reached R$203.073mil. Fiat group invested US$2.1bil in Brazil over the last three years. In 1999 the group had R$8.9bil turnover in the country.
