Chile: Vina Concha y Toro's exports rose 27%.

Vina Concha y Toro's wine exports amounted to US$85.5mil between January and September 2000, a 27% increase in comparison with the same period of 1999. Exports volume at the company rose 29%, to nearly 37mil liters. Concha y Toro is the leading Chilean wine exporter, holding nearly 20% of the national exports. Vina San Pedro, ranked as the 2nd major wine exporter, reached 23mil liters and US$45mil between January and September 2000, 12.5% and 7.6% higher than the 1999 results, respectively. Vina Santa Carolina's exports rose 4.6% over the comparative period, to US$23.6mil, while Vina Errazuriz's rose 10%, to US$21mil. Vina Santa Emiliana's exports rose 57% and 55%, to 10milliters and US$19mil, respectively.
