Brazil: Intel launches Pentium 4.

The worldwide leader processors manufacturer Intel launched the Pentium 4, the first new chip since the launch of Pentium family in 1993. The product was developed to take the best of the Internet and of the broadband, said the company" engineer in Brazil Paulo Lamanna Filho. In Brazil the company is to face a serious problem: the very high price and the low demand. Intel believes that in 2001 the Brazilian market will still be using the Pentium 3.
