Brazil: Petrobras makes contract with French CSO.

The French group CSO (Coflexip Stena Offshore) made a contract with the Brazilian state owned oil and gas company Petrobras to supply the infra-structure for the exploration of Roncador field, in Bacias de Campos (Rio de Janeiro). According to the contract the company will supply, install and set up almost 666 KM of flexible pipes , cables to conduct electric power and optical fibers in 21 submarine wells in P-36 platform. With a production capacity for 180,000 barrels per day, P-36is currently considered the major worldwide platform.
