Bolivia: Citibank ends personal banking operations, focus in corporate banking.

Citibank is pulling out of personal banking in Bolivia with plans in 2001 to focus in corporate banking. Changes will be implemented until mid February, when customers are expected to withdraw cash. By end October 2001 Citibank had 11,603 accounts, or 1,21% of the domestic banking system, that will be passed on to Banco Mercantil.
