Brazil: Ariba, I2 Technologies and Commerce One operate in Brazil.

Brazilian market is attracting suppliers of technology for B2B (business to business). After Ariba and I2 Technologies, Commerce One will start business in the sector that in Brazil is to move US$5bil in 2001. Commerce One is to invest R$4mil in 2001, expecting to reach R$10mil turnover, conquering 60%- 70% participation in the sector. According to its businessman Mr Carlo Zimmer the expansion will be made through its international clients with operations in Brazil: Citibank, General Motors and Portugal Telecom. In technology the company has partners as Microsioft, SAP, Compaq, Accenture, PricewaterhouseCoopers and Deloitte Consulting.
