Brazil: Labor party goes to court against Anatel.

The Brazilian labor party went into court trying to void the bid notice of Anatel (Agencia Nacional de Telecomunicacoes) for the acquisition of 290,000 PC[acute accent]s for the program Telecomunidade, to be implemented in the Brazilian public schools. The party complains about Windows, from Microsoft that was chosen as the operating system. It also complains about the rules according to only the carriers from the Sistema Telefonica Misto Comutado can take part on the tender. The companies are: Brasil Telecom, Telemar, Telefonica, Embratel, CPBC and Sercontel.
