The airline company Gol Linhas Aereas has confirmed the lease of four planes predicted for this year, despite the low occupancy rates registered by it. The first, a Boeing 737-800 (156 seats), has recently arrived in Brazil and is to start up soon. The aircraft will be leased from CIT Group. It will lease the second plane from GE Capital by Oct and the third, also from GE, to arrive in Nov. The leasing of another Boeing 737-800 (also from CIT Group) was anticipated from Dec to Nov. The company has been keeping the 58% occupancy rate registered in Aug. Varig registered 62% occupancy rate over this month, Vasp had a 54% and TAM (47%).
