Itabrasco to invest US$18mil.

The Italian-Brazilian Itabrasco (Companhia Italo-Brasileira de Pelotizacao ) controlled by CVRD (Companhia Vale do Rio Doce) and by Itailian iron & steel company Ilva, will have an injection of US$18mil until 2005. The resources will be used in the storage capacity expansion (140,000 m tons to 270,000 m tons), limestone grinding improvement, production process automation and environmental actions. The plant current capacity is of 3.3mil m tons of pellets.
