Light reschedules debts.

The Brazilian electricity company Light is outlining a project for the restructuring of its debts - R$2.5bil with private banks, R$1.2bil with its controlled EDF (Electricite de France) and other R$750mil with BNDES (Banco Nacional de Desenvolvimento Economico e Social). Light has been facing operating problems like loss of energy and downturn in consumptio. The company registered an Ebitda of R$432mil in 2002. Excluding investments of R$280mil, Light had a cash of R$152mil and a debt of R$4.8bil in December 2002.
