Kodak and Fuji races for digital photo market.

The US Kodak and the Japanese Fuji have struggled for the Brazilian digital photographic market. Both companies have planned to invest in retail outlets to transform them into services centers (Internet and mobile phone). Kodak has announced that out of the 1,700 selling points, 80% can integrate such planning. The group intends to take advantage of the mobile phone' image services and create wireless picture printing ones. Meanwhile Fuji has recently launched its photographic website, to which the consumer can send pictures and pick them at one of the overall 1,500 point of sales in domestic market.
