The leasing operations closed 2003 with an increase of 28,78% if compared to 2002, with R$6.024bil in new contracts - that hit 118,155 (54,26% up 2002). The services sector increased from 40% to 48% in terms of new contracts. The individuals represented 13% of the contracts in 2003 against 10% in 2002. Meanwhile, the investments in the telecommunications area are the main target of CSI Leasing Brasil. Specializing in operational leasing, CSI is a subsidiary of Computer Sales International, a company with a US$200mil net worth and that is starting activities in Brazil. CSI expects US$40mil in businesses in Brazil.
