Gross advertising investment in Argentina totalled Pesos$4,392mil in 2003, an increase of 70% over investments of Pesos$2,580mil in 2002, according to media monitoring firm Monitor de Medios. Net advertising investments in 2003 were between 30% and 35% higher than in 2002. The strongest increases were registered in the hygiene and beauty products and food products industries, which increased advertising investments by 100%.
