Cristalerias de Chile approves US$210 investment plan.

Cristalerias de Chile, the Chilean glass container manufacturer, has approved plans to invest US$210mil in doubling its installed capacity from the current 300,000 m tons to 600,000 m tons per year over the next 10 years. With the investment, the company will be able to meet rising domestic demand. In the first phase of the project, the company will build a new plant with four production lines and a furnace. It will have a production capacity of 360 m tons per day and will receive investments of about US$110mil.
