Endesa, Colbun and AES Gener show interest in Enap gas terminal.

Enap, the Chilean state-owned oil company, is currently negotiating with local electricity companies the creation of a pool of consumers to make it feasible to build a new re-gasification plant in Chile's Region V. The terminal will be fuelled by liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) imported from any part of the world. Although the company has not yet disclosed the names of interested companies, it is believed that Endesa Chile, Colbun and AES Gener have shown interest in the project. The three companies operate gas-fired combined-cycle power plants which need a combined daily supply of about 1.7 million cubic metres of gas.
