Brazil: Fixed and mobile phone operators bet on synergies.

The Brazilian and fixed mobile phone operators Telefonica, Vivo, Embratel, Claro, Brasil Telecom, Intelig and GVT are focusing on convergent services. Brasil Telecom and Brasil Telecom GSM, which is entering the mobile phone market, will offer integrated services like the prepaid hybrid card, which can be used in mobile and fixed phones.
