There are no Canadian financial reports scheduled to be released today.

The Canadian dollar was trading as of 8:22 CT, at $0.6885 cents US.

The loonie is expected to see further jitters in the market today ahead of the US Federal Open Market Committee's (FOMC) meeting. Analysts expect the unit to trade between $0.6825 to $0.6756.

The bond market is also expected to open weaker this morning as the market prices in a shift in the US FOMC policy stance.
