Dairy Farmers Of Ontario Re-Elect Chair, Vice Chair.

Gordon Coukell was re-elected Chair and Bruce Saunders was re-elected Vice-Chair at a special meeting of Dairy Farmers of Ontario (DFO) held Friday.

Coukell has been Chair since January 2001. He had served as Vice-Chair of DFO since 1999, having served since 1985 as an elected member representing dairy producers in Simcoe, Peel, Dufferin and Wellington counties.

As a member of DFO, Coukell sits on the Canadian Milk Supply Management Committee, is a director of Dairy Farmers of Canada and has also been DFO's representative to the Ontario Farm Animal Council since 1988.

During the spring of 2000, the Coukells entered into a joint venture with a neighbouring farmer....
