Corn Watch: CBOT Corn Called Flat to 1 U.S. Cent Higher.

Corn futures at the Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) are seen starting Friday's session flat to 1 U.S. cent higher. A bullish USDA weekly corn export sales report was seen lifting prices at the open. However, the specter of a massive U.S. corn crop continues to overshadow the market as a whole.

The CBOT December corn future finished Thursday's trading session down 1 cent at U.S.$2.04 1/4. December corn ended the day near the session low. However, traders remain surprised that corn prices have not moved sharply lower despite the recent bearish USDA corn production report.

The USDA reported Friday that weekly corn export sales totaled 1,484,300 metric tons, a strong 91% increase...
