WCE Futures Midday: Higher, Canola Up On CBOT, Export Talk.

Winnipeg, Mar 15, 2006 (Resource News International via COMTEX) -- Grain and oilseed futures at the Winnipeg Commodity Exchange (WCE) at midday on Wednesday were mainly higher with canola up on the firm tone in Chicago Board of Trade soyoil futures and talk of fresh exports, brokers said.

Canola rallied in light trade with intermonth spreading accounting for over half the volume. The May/July spread traded at C$7.20 to $7.80 while the July/Nov spread traded at C$14.70 to C$15.40. Total canola volume was estimated at 3,110 contracts.
