HURRICANES RALLY, BEAT SABRES IN OT

Cory Stillman scored a power-play goal in overtime to cap a Carolina comeback and put the Hurricanes one game away from a return to the Stanley Cup final.

Carolina scored the last three goals to win 4-3 in the fifth game of the Eastern Conference final at RBC Center in Raleigh, N.C., on Sunday.

Justin Williams, Mark Recchi and Rod Brind'Amour also scored for the Hurricanes. Matt Cullen added two assists.

Eric Staal also had an assist to extend his point streak to 15 games, four shy of the NHL playoff record held by Bryan Trottier of the New York Islanders.
